JOB SUMMARY:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and resolve complaints or issues. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Work with minimum supervision.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  • High developed since of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Receives and analyzes customers' requests, provides information requested or routes them to who can best provide the information.
  • Analyzes transactions, corrects records, and adjusts errors.
  • Has a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.
  • Traces status of orders through ERP.
  • Resolves customer questions related to orders, takes orders as needed.
  • Maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
  • Ensures that all customer requests are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Responds to customers' requests via telephone or electronically.
  • Enters and reviews customer orders to ensure all information is correct.
  • Has good knowledge of GMI’s capabilities.
  • Notifies customers of any changes to their order as soon as possible.
  • Handles all customer complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Provides reports to management when requested.
  • Work with Accounting Department to ensure all terms and conditions are met.
  • Provides switchboard relief as needed.
  • Assists in Returns and Replacements as needed.
  • Comply with all appropriate Quality Standards and fully support the ISO Program.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination and Standard Work.
  • Comply with OSHA Requirements, Safety, Good Housekeeping and 5S Policies and Procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Required Qualification:
  • GED/Diploma and one (1) year experience.
  • Knowledge and ability-English and grammar.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Has the ability to work in a team environment to achieve the goals of the department.
  • Good work ethics, detail oriented and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work OT when required including weekends.
